Man Killed in West Nashville Car Accident

Recently, a man was killed in a two car accident in west Nashville. The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on the River Road Pike. According to the police, Holley Grammer, 47, and his sister Alison Grammer, 43, were riding in a car when another vehicle crossed into their lane and crashed into them.

Sadly, Mr. Grammer was declared dead at the scene, and Ms. Grammer was transported to the local hospital for treatment of her injuries. The driver of the other car that hit the Grammers only suffered minor injuries and did not require medical assistance. The other driver told the Nashville police that she was traveling on River Road when she saw something in her lane and slammed on the brakes. Her car then slid into the lane with the Grammers, causing the accident.

There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol as a contributing cause of the accident, but police say that the investigation is still underway. So far, no charges have been brought against the driver of the other vehicle in the accident.
